gnome-u2ps software package provides tool to convert UTF-8 text to PostScript, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gnome-u2ps 

gnome-u2ps is installed in your system.
